Dr Peter Lovatt / Doctor Dance
Selected
Projects
I’m interested in what happens when psychology and dance meet. Over the years that curiosity has taken me into theatres, studios and conversations with people whose lives are shaped by movement.
These are some of the projects I’ve created and the questions behind them.

23 Feelings
in Dance
Can audiences recognise complex emotions expressed through dance?
I invited choreographers to create three-minute dances about complex feelings. Across 23 nights at the Edinburgh Fringe, I asked audiences what they thought they had seen, then brought the choreographers into the conversation.
